June 10, 2006 – Slavik Berestov, 11 is sniffing a glue from a plastic bag in a truck where he lives with his brother in Odessa, Ukraine on Saturday, June 10, 2006. According to Ukrainian NGO “The Way Home” there are more then 3000 homeless children living in the street of Odessa. Almost all street children use drugs. The last research carried out by “The Way Home” shows that practically all street children have STDs and many of them are HIV positive.
