A member of the Ulster Volunteer Force on a street in Protestant East Belfast, where Loyalist residents fly the Israeli flag to show their support for the Jewish state. This is widely seen as a response to the practise in Catholic West Belfast, where Republicans display the Palestinian flag in support of Palestinian independence.
